The Spy x family anime series, produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, is coming back this year with a new movie. It's called Code: White and it has a release date set in Japan!

The original anime film will feature an original story based on Tatsuya Endo's manga. It's slated to hit theaters on December 22nd in Japan.

The Artwork

The Spy x Family franchise has recently released new artwork for the upcoming Code: White movie. The poster art features Loid, Anya, and Yor as they face their enemies in a dramatic moment.

At JumpFesta '23, the anime franchise announced a second season and a movie to go along with it. The movie is based on an original story not seen in the series and is supervised by manga creator Tatsuya Endo, who also provided the designs for the new characters. It's directed by Takashi Katagiri, who was the assistant director on both seasons of the anime, and is animated by Wit Studio and CloverWorks. The movie is set to premiere in Japan on December 22nd and will be available for international audiences five months after its Japanese release.

The Story

The Spy x family anime series has a new movie on the way, and fans can now get excited about it thanks to the release of new artwork. The new artwork shows the four main characters of the series – Loid, Anya, Yor, and Bond – in snow-capped mountains.

The movie is centered around an original story that has been supervised by manga creator Tatsuya Endo. It’s being animated by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, the same companies that worked on the TV anime adaptation.

The story centers on Simon, a young man who has obsessive compulsive disorder and struggles to control his obsessions. He’s unable to accept that his obsessive counting has become all-consuming, and is constantly struggling to find peace with himself. The film is slated to be released in December 22nd in Japan. Eventually, it will reach theaters across the globe. The movie will also be available on DVD and streaming platforms several months after its Japanese cinematic release.

The Cast

Adapted from Tatsuya Endo’s popular manga series, Spy x family follows three people who are all pretending to be a family while maintaining their secret identities and jobs. The father, Loid, is a secret agent; the mother, Yor, is an assassin; and their daughter, Anya, is a telepath.

Now, the cast of Spy x family is getting ready for another thrilling adventure as the show is set to get an original movie this year. The anime and movie will be produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, who worked on the TV anime adaptation of the series.

In addition to this announcement, the official Spy x family account has also released new artwork for Code: White. The movie poster shows Loid, Yor, and Anya facing the world with a determined expression. The artwork includes a lot of snow, which is perfect for the winter setting of the movie. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Japan on December 22, 2023, so keep an eye out for this amazing adventure!

The Release Date

Spy x family fans can count on the release of Code: White this December. The film, which is helmed by Takashi Katagiri, is the first major film adaptation of the anime series since its original premiere in 2022. Its plot is supervised by mangaka Tatsuya Endo, and written by the show's executive producer, Ichiro Okouchi.

The movie's key visual was unveiled during Anime Japan 2023. Its design was inspired by the James Bond movie franchise. It features the Forger family, led by secret spy Loid Forger, his pretend wife Yor Forger, and their adopted telekinetic daughter Anya Forger.

The most impressive part of the movie's homage to the old spy film was its clever use of technology. In particular, the movie boasted a "CGI" smoky hazy image that made it appear as if the characters were floating in space. It was also the first time a live action movie had been produced to take place in space.
