Your only joy is in causing death, and even that is fleeting. That is how Dad and I molded you.”Illumi Zoldyck is the eldest son of Silva and Kikyo. He hails from the family of assassins and his family reputation is known throughout the world. He is also considered as the strongest member of the Zoldyck family and there are many references in the anime series where he dominated and scared the shit out of many of his kin’s.He made his first entrance in Hunter Exam Arc alongside Hisoka and others, under an alias name. He was in the pursuit of his brother Killua, who escaped from the house after impeaching his mother and he was there to take him back with him. Illumi Hunter X Hunter also was able to clear the hunter exam and become one of them.

If we talk about his Nen abilities and physical strength then he is the one person with whom you don’t wanna mess with. He is a dangerous and cold person, who at times is seen chuckling and making comical faces while at other times could be seen oozing with bloodcurdling bloodlust. He is tactically as well as physically proficient and has hordes of accomplishments under his belt. Hisoka earlier when analyzing the powers of Zodiiacs had pulled a notch above them determining Illumi to be powerful than them. He has enhanced speed and stamina of advanced level. He could withstand pain tolerance and can throw multiple needles at one go with each of them finding their marks perfectly.Illumi Hunter X Hunter possesses deep and high intelligence as he was able to interpret every move of Killua and also overpowered Hisoka’s attempt to trap in his scheme. Illumi is a manipulator and mainly hunts his opponent through his Nen infused needles. Body Alteration, hypnotic spell, Corpse Control, and needle peoples are some of his moves.Currently, he is a member of the Phantomtroupe.
