"After around 294 manga chapters and Boku no hero academia 295, is expected to arrive this week there still no clarity to one question that has actually made fans go crazy and skeptic about. At first I wanted to dodge this question but somehow I again found myself in the middle of nowhere of this question, who is stronger? But still I'll try to answer this equation. For me, Deku should be stronger than Bakugou. He should outclass bakugou in every conceivable way. Though Bakugou is my favorite character in this series but still I can't put him above Deku as for now. And considerably I too found writers have actually didn't do justice with his character.

he was actually introduced as a the most powerful character in the class-1A, easily outmaneuvered rest of his mates but now after these many chapters and Boku no hero academia 295 scheduled this week Bakugou is standing still there, might be little steps further but has been considerably out classed by his once quirk less rival.

In the story we are told that with One for All Deku is directly harnessing something that is stronger than PAM (Prime All Might) Because that is how OFA works.

It stockpiles, which means that Deku’s strength should be comprable to All Might in his prime.

However this is not the case.

In fact 5% Deku should be 3 times stronger than USJ All Might based on the big guy’s own statement that he used to be 60 times stronger.

Deku realistically speaking should be traveling at speeds faster than the eye can comprehend. He should be traveling at speeds of around 153 Mach. (See comment on Why is Deku so weak in canon?) Which would make him the strongest thing on that planet realisitically speaking. let's hope Boku no hero academia 295, bring some clarity on this dual where Bakugou is involved in a fight with Nomus.

But Horikoshi kind of forgot that USJ All Might went faster than the eye can comprehend and then said he used to be 60 times stronger, which is why we ended up with him being so weak.

Either that, or Horikoshi forgot how massive 5% is when talking about things many times the speed of sound.

So. While Mathematically speaking Deku Far surpasses Bakugou in strength, speed, and durability. In the story they are portrayed as around equal in strength. (Especially early War Arc)
