Jujutsu Kaisen has taken the anime community by storm with its compelling storylines and jaw-dropping battles. One of the show's most cherished characters is Yuji Itadori, who has left viewers wondering where he will be in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. While Itadori did not make an appearance in the season premiere, fans can expect him to return for one of the manga series' most anticipated arcs.

The Itadori Story

In Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, Itadori Yuji was a normal high school student who unwittingly dived into the world of Curses and Sorcery when his friends at Tokyo Jujutsu High's occult club attract several Curses to their school after unsealing a rotten finger talisman. As a result, Itadori is the host of the powerful curse Sukuna.

Despite his small size, Itadori has a large impact on the series and becomes a central figure in both the Jujutsu Kaisen and its sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The first season of the anime debuted in 2022 and was immediately a hit. Its popularity led to MAPPA turning the manga into its own film, which was a massive success.

The arc will see Itadori, along with his friends Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, investigate a series of mysterious deaths at Megumi's previous school. As the trio explores the domain, they encounter a series of Curses, including two members of the Curse User Group Q. They are then ordered to escort and erase the new Star Plasma Vessel under Tengen's orders, which is a dangerous mission.

As the team embarks on their dangerous journey, it becomes clear that Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto will play a significant role in this arc. This is because the two peerless jujutsu sorcerers are on a mission to reclaim their former mentor, who was forced to retire by Itadori's power as Sukuna's host.

It is likely that if Itadori returns in the upcoming season, he will be involved in this arc in some way, either as a witness to the events or as an adversary of the Gojos and Sugurus. Given his unique power and strength, Itadori will definitely be a key player in the next chapter of this epic series.
