Plot Details

Three years have passed since Hero Sion sealed the Hell's Gate portal and the demons have returned to wreak havoc. Touka Scott, a perverted farmer who covers radishes with stockings just because they resemble the shape of a thigh, is in a fix.

Suddenly, a demon attacks the village. When Sion arrives to slay the demon, he accidentally blunders into a trap Touka had dug.

Necromancer Anri Haysworth sees this and places Touka's soul in Sion's deceased body. Now posing as the hero, Touka sets out on a journey with his comrade Anri and childhood friend Yuna Eunice to reseal the Hell's Gate.

On their way, Touka uses his identity as a hero to take advantage of people's generosity. Unfortunately, he ends up fighting with a lady's bodyguard, whose Sacred Sword goes flaccid. This forces him to use the hero's sword, a move that he finds unimpressive.

Final Words

In episode 2, the group sets off to slay demons as they travel to the other world. However, Touka is challenged by Sion’s old teammate Kyle and accused of impersonating the real hero due to his inability to use his sacred sword.

In order to prove his worth as a hero, Touka takes on an adventure with Anri Haysworth and his childhood friend Yuna Eunice. During their journey, Touka leeches off of people’s goodwill and fails to show his mettle as the legendary hero.

As the series progresses, Touka, Anri, and Yuna must fight to save their world from a ferocious enemy. It’s a story that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! It’s definitely worth checking out, and you can watch the latest episode on Crunchyroll, Funimation, AnimeLab, or your preferred streaming platform! All you need to do is make sure you have a subscription and a reliable internet connection.
