The official website for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Kazuha Kishimoto’s light novel series Isekai Shoukan wa Nidome Desu has released a new promotional video and visual. The anime stars Shunichi Toki as the protagonist, and it will debut in spring 2023.

The series follows a way-too-fantastic ex-hero who is summoned to another world in a very unexpected development. However, he falls into a trap and is forced to return to his original world.

Anime Release Date

Among them is Summoned to Another World Again?! (Isekai Shokan wa Nidome Desu), a TV anime adaptation of Kazuha Kishimoto's harem-comedy light novel series. It's directed by Motoki Nakanishi and produced at Studio Elle.

The story centers on a lame high schooler who is summoned to another fantasy world and becomes a hero. But when he gets caught up in a trap, he is forced to return to his original world as a baby.

The official website for the anime has revealed a new promotional video, cast members, and more information. The anime is slated to air on April 8 in Japan and has an opening theme song performed by the idol group Maybe Me.

Key Visual

The upcoming Summoned to Another World Again?! anime has unveiled its first full promotional video and key visual. This one boasts a number of notable innovations, including a nifty animation deco, a new ending theme song, and a whole host of new cast members.

The first key visual is an apt representation of the series’s upcoming April 9 premiere. The clip shows off a slew of impressive-looking characters, and also includes the aforementioned "Miro-Miro-Me" atop a flurry of dazzling lights.

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Kazuha Kishimoto and illustrated by 40hara, which launched on Shosetsuka ni Naro in March 2015. It was also the subject of a comic book adaptation that began publishing in June 2018, featuring art by Arashiyama. This is the latest of Studio elle’s many anime adaptations, and it should be an exciting ride for fans of fantasy, swords and sorcery, and all things shiny. This one features a key visual and an April 8 premiere date, along with a preview of the ending theme song “Be ambitious!!!” from MAYBE ME.

The upcoming series has already announced new cast members including Kaori Maeda as Elka, Saori Onishi as Desastre, Fairouz Ai as Levia and Satomi Amano as Yuhi. Takuma Nagatsuka, Yui Ogura, Rina Honizumi and Satomi Akesaka will also be a part of the main cast as Toma, Shironeko, Mineko and Roa respectively. The trailer also showcases the opening theme song “Continue Distortion” from S.S.NiRVERGE and the ending theme song from MAYBE ME.
