The Jujutsu Kaisen anime will be getting a new event in 2023. It will be a sequel to the first season. The characters involved will be Gojo and his former apprentice, Master Tengen. In addition to this, the Shibuya Incident arc will also be coming to the show.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release date

Anime Japan 2023, the Japanese anime festival held in Tokyo each year, will feature a special stage dedicated to Jujutsu Kaisen. This event will be held on March 25, 2023. Many characters from the anime series are expected to attend the event.

The official TOHO animation website recently announced a new complete key visual for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. In addition, the website also revealed two consecutive episodes will be broadcasted during the 2023 broadcast season. Anime seasons in Japan run for three months.

Fans are excited to learn more about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, which will be adapted from two manga story arcs, Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu and the Shibuya Incident. Several characters, including Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, will be introduced in this second season of the popular anime.

Earlier this year, a new event was held for Jujutsu Kaisen during Jump Festa 2023. This event was held to introduce the next season of the anime. The event included a new visual for the upcoming season and a character introduction trailer.

According to the official announcement, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will premiere in July 2023. The show will cover two story arcs, Gojo's Past Arc and Shibuya Incident Arc.

In the first season, viewers were introduced to the supernatural shounen anime, which follows a young boy named Yuji Itadori. He is an abnormally strong high school student who takes a curse into his soul. After a mysterious death at his old middle school, he joins a group of students to investigate the death.

Satoru Gojo, a powerful sorcerer, guides him to Tokyo Jujutsu High School. During his time there, he finds out that Ryomen Sukuna, an evil curse spirit, has a plan to invade the human world.

Gojo's Past Arc

It's time for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2! The series will continue the drama of its first season and focus on the relationships between Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. They will also tackle two more manga story arcs.

The series will start broadcasting in July 2023. At the same time, there will be a special stage at Anime Japan 2023 that will be dedicated to the anime. Several important characters will attend the event. Here are the things viewers can expect from the show.

There are no concrete visuals yet, but the show is expected to run for at least 20 episodes. According to the production company MAPPA, the next season will be a continuation of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto's relationship. In addition, the show will include a story arc that will take place during the Shibuya Incident.

Shibuya Incident Arc

There are rumors that the upcoming TV sequel will cover a new arc called "Gojo's Past Arc." This is based on the manga by Genge Akutami.

It has been said that the upcoming season will have a long runtime. The first season was split into two courses. Each one lasted about ten episodes. However, Jujutsu Kaisen is expecting to be much longer than this.

During the Jump Festa 2023 event, manga creator Gege Akutami shared new artwork for season 2. He also confirmed that a second event will be held in the year of 2023.

Master Tengen

In the future, there will be another Jujutsu Kaisen event. As of now, we don't know which cast members will be present at this event, but it's safe to assume that most of the main characters will be there.

The event will take place in 2023. That is, after the release of the new movie. Until now, we've only known about the film. But now, Crunchyroll has announced that season 2 is in the works. And MAPPA, the company that produces Jujutsu Kaisen, will be producing it as well.

For now, there's no information on how many episodes will be produced. What is certain is that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will start broadcasting in July of 2023. This means the next two manga story arcs will be adapted for the TV series.
